About Elow

Elowen & Rue was founded in 2021 out of a quiet conviction: a handbag shouldn't have to choose between beauty and durability. Too many pieces on the market are designed to be replaced — trend-led, quickly made, and quietly disposable.

We wanted something different. So we started working with small leather workshops, sourcing full-grain leather, and designing bags meant to be carried for years, not seasons. No fast fashion. No shortcuts. Just considered pieces, made properly.

What began as a handful of designs has grown into a small, evolving collection — each piece designed in-house, refined slowly, and made in limited batches so that quality never gets rushed.
